1. ఒక దేశం అభివృధ్ది చెందడం గురించి స్వామి వివేకానంద ఇలా చెప్పారు -- శ్రామిక వర్గం జాగృతి చెందాలి, శ్రామిక వర్గం జాగృతి చెందితే ఆ దేశం త్వరగా పురోగమిస్తుంది.

2. వేదాలు, ఉపనిషత్తులు చూపిన ఆధ్యాత్మిక తత్వాల ప్రాతిపదిక మీద హిందూమతం వెలసింది. "శాశ్వతమైనది" అనే అర్దంతో "సనాతన దర్మం" గా పేరుపొందిన మతం అది.

3. మతం అంటే ఆధ్యాత్మికత. 'ఆత్మ' అనే పదం నుంచి ఆధ్యాత్మికత వచ్చింది. ఆత్మ స్వయం వివరణాత్మకమైనది, చైతన్యరూపమైనది, సమస్త జ్ఞానానికి, ఆనందానికి నిజమైన కారణమైనది అన్ని ఆత్మలు పరమాత్మలో మమేకమై ఉన్నాయి.

4. మనిషిలో నెలకొన్న ఈ ఆత్మ శక్తి నిలయం. అది జాగృతి చెందినప్పుడు శక్తి జనిస్తుంది, ఆనందం పొంగి పొరలుతుంది. ఈ విదంగా ఆత్మను జాగృతి చెందింపజేయడనికి, అభివ్యక్తం చేయడానికి దోహదం చేసేదే మతం.

5. మానవునిలో నిక్షిప్తమైన దివ్యత్వాన్ని అభివ్యక్తపరచడమే మతం.

5. గౌరవించదగిన వారిలో గురువు ఆచార్యుని కంటే పదిరెట్లు ఎక్కువ; తండ్రి ఉపాద్యాయుని కంటే నూరురెట్లు ఎక్కువ; తల్లి తండ్రి కంటే వేయిరెట్లు ఎక్కువ.
మన సాంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం తల్లిది అందరికంటె ఉఛ్చస్థానం. తల్లిని గౌరవించలేని వాడికి సంఘంలో విలువ ఉండదు.

This is life’s experience; if you really want the good of others, the whole universe may stand against you and cannot hurt you. If you are sincere and really unselfish, it must crumble before your power of the lord himself in you.
